I apologize for this simple page, I do not speak English.
My modest Web site has been designed to share with you my amateur radio activities and also introduce you to my town.

I was born in 1946 in
San Vito al Tagliamento, a town in the North/East of Italy, in province of Pordenone (Friuli Venezia Giulia).
At first I become a Ham Radio in 1974 with the call-sign IW3QBK, but in 2006 it has been changed to IV3OGT.
I have been away from radio activities for many years because of my job and some personal problems, but since I reached the retirement I have resumed with a new enthusiasm.
I started in HF with an
Icom IC-7400 which I soon joined an SDR-1000 of FlexRadio, followed by a Flex 5000A.
The antenna is an vertical
ECO 7+ for 40 to 10 meters.
Currently I am using mostly digital modes with particular preference for PSK31.
I am member of the following Clubs:
-
EPC Member # 1746, area IT87
-
DMC Member # 571
-
30MDG Member # 370
-
Feld Hell Club #3228
-
BCS Member # 608.
I am not a great DX'r but I really do enjoy it.
Despite the modest conditions of antenna I was able to reach contacts with all 6 continents (well, every now the propagation gives me a hand...).
Of course most of the contacts is with European correspondents.
I also enjoy Photography  and Computer.
My first personal computer was a card Kim-1 with an RTTY that demodulates signals and reproduces the weather maps on a dot matrix printer.
Then I switched to an Apple ][. Now I have an iMac, while the PC desktop is mainly used for the activity of OM.
